Electoral Roll Renewal 2019CHURCH ELECTORAL ROLL
The electoral roll is the
parish church’s register of electors; that is the list of those qualified to
attend and vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meetings.
Under Church Representation
Rules the electoral roll has to be renewed every six years and 2019 is the year
for this to happen. We therefore need to
draw up a completely new roll. This
means that everyone has to come off the roll and re-apply.
Everyone who wishes to have
their names entered on the new Electoral Roll whether their names are entered
on the present roll or not, are requested to apply for enrolment not later than
Sunday 24th March 2019.
Forms will be available in
both St Paul’s and St Mary’s Churches and on the websites. Completed forms should be returned to the
Church Wardens in either church.
The new electoral roll will
be displayed in both churches from Sunday 14th April 2019 for
errors/omissions to be corrected. No
names may be added or removed at this time.
The Annual Parochial Church
Meeting is on Monday 29th April 2019 at St Mary’s Church, Burgh
